II. Bài mẫu IELTS Speaking Part 1 chủ đề Carrying things

Câu 1: What do you often carry with you?

I always bring my essentials (đồ thiết yếu - necessary items) wherever I go since I feel lost without them (cảm thấy lạc lõng nếu thiếu thứ gì đó - feel uncomfortable or incomplete without something). These usually include my sleek smartphone (điện thoại thông minh nhỏ gọn - slim and stylish phone), compact wallet (ví nhỏ gọn - small and easy-to-carry wallet), and noise-canceling headphones (tai nghe chống ồn - headphones that block external noise). For instance, when heading to school (đang đi học - going to school), I also carry a lightweight notebook (sổ tay nhẹ - easy-to-carry notebook) to jot down important notes. Without these, my day would be quite hectic (bận rộn, đầy thử thách - busy and challenging).>> Form đăng kí giải đề thi thật IELTS 4 kĩ năng kèm bài giải bộ đề 100 đề PART 2 IELTS SPEAKING quý đang thi (update hàng tuần) từ IELTS TUTOR

Câu 2: What do you do if your item is heavy?

When I have to carry something bulky (cồng kềnh - large and difficult to carry), I always try to pack smart (sắp xếp đồ hợp lý - arrange items efficiently). This means distributing the weight evenly in my bag and choosing a sturdy backpack (ba lô chắc chắn - strong and durable backpack) instead of a handbag. If it’s too much to handle (quá sức để mang vác - difficult to carry), I ask someone for help rather than straining my back (làm căng cơ lưng - putting excessive pressure on my back). Last week, for example, I had to carry several textbooks, so I placed the heaviest ones closer to my back to lighten the load (giảm tải trọng - make it easier to carry).

Câu 3: Do you prefer carrying a backpack or a handbag?

I definitely prefer a backpack since it’s way more comfortable (thoải mái hơn nhiều - much more convenient and pleasant). Unlike handbags, which often put pressure on one shoulder, backpacks distribute weight evenly, reducing the risk of muscle strain (căng cơ - overstretching muscles). Also, they are more versatile (đa dụng - suitable for different situations), as I can carry my laptop, water bottle, and other essentials with ease. Although handbags look stylish, they’re not as practical (không thực tế bằng - less useful or convenient) when I have a lot to carry, especially for long commutes.

Câu 4: Have you ever lost something important that you were carrying?

Yes, I once left my wallet behind (bỏ quên ví - accidentally forgot my wallet) in a taxi, and I didn’t realize it until I got home. It was a nerve-wracking (căng thẳng, lo lắng - extremely stressful) experience because it contained my ID, credit cards, and some cash. Luckily, I contacted the taxi company right away and managed to retrieve it, which was a huge relief. Since then, I’ve been extra careful (cẩn thận hơn bình thường - paying more attention) and always double-check my belongings before leaving a place.
