Cách trả lời câu hỏi dạng Liệt Kê “Types/Kinds of”IELTS SPEAKING PART 1-3

IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:

• Câu hỏi liệt kê trong IELTS SPEAKING có thể gặp trong IELTS SPEAKING PART 1-3 va thậm chí trong 3 câu đầu của IELTS SPEAKING PART 2 

IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:

• What can you do on a farm?
  • IELTS TUTOR hướng dẫn: đây là dạng câu hỏi liệt kê đòi hỏi liệt kê các hành động làm ở farm 

IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:

• Vì là dạng câu hỏi liệt kê nên việc liệt kê ra sẽ không thể thiếu tuy nhiên bên cạnh liệt kê nên có cho ví dụ và giải thích tránh chỉ tập trung list ý 

IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:

• Câu hỏi: What can you do on a farm?
• Câu trả lời mang tính list ý: Things i can do on a farm include picking fresh strawberries or taking picture with the garden
• Câu trả lời ổn hơn theo hướng có giải thích phía trên IELTS TUTOR có hướng dẫn: 
  • Main idea: There are many things I can do on a farm, ranging from picking fresh strawberries to taking picture with the garden.

  • Example: 

IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ khác về cách trả lời được gọi là list ý không được đánh giá cao:

• Examiner: What kind of drinks do you like? 
• Candidate: My favorite kinds of drink are bubble tea, coffee and machiato
• IELTS TUTOR lưu ý: Câu trả lời trên không sai, nhưng sẽ chỉ nằm ở tầm dưới band 5 vì:
  • Câu trả lời quá ngắn và trực tiếp 
  • Chỉ liệt kê và chưa đi sâu nói chi tiết vào từng thứ

IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:

• Đối với câu hỏi dạng liệt kê Part 3 cần phải bổ sung câu giải thích (supporting idea) và cho ví dụ cho mỗi ý để kéo dài câu trả lời ra chứ không nên trả lời cụt lủn 
• Qua câu ví dụ phía dưới của IELTS TUTOR có thể rút ra điểm khác nhau của cách trả lời câu hỏi dạng liệt kê của Part 1 & Part 3 như sau:
  • Đối với câu hỏi liệt kê ở Part 1 chỉ cần list ý ra sau đó chỉ cần nêu giải thích 1 trong 2 ý là được (phù hợp về độ dài của Part 1 mà IELTS TUTOR đã giải thích kĩ) 
  • Đối với câu hỏi liệt kê Part 3 cần phải giải thích kĩ càng cho cả 2 main ideas để kéo dài độ dài 

IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:

• Câu hỏi: Why do some people have few friends?
• Câu trả lời của Part 1: I guess there are two main reasons for that, ranging from personal characteristics to individual attitude towards friendship. Among these, I do believe that today's people prefer quality than quantity when they only choose 1 or 2 best friends to confide in 
• Câu trả lời của Part 3: I guess there are two main reasons for that. Firstly, maybe some people consider themselves introverts and find it hard to start a conversation with others. For example, when those people go to a party, they tend to stand in the corner and may not have so much fun. Secondly, I guess some people do not have a lot of friends because they prefer quality than quantity. It does not mean they will be sad or something, they just want to have a few close friends instead of a group of casual acquaintances whom they do not know very well.

• Câu hỏi: What qualities do successful businessmen have?
• Câu trả lời liệt kê Part 1: In my opinion, any successful entrepreneur needs to be determined and self-disciplined. IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:

• Câu hỏi: What are the advantages and disadvantages of taking a photo with a phone?
• Câu trả lời câu hỏi liệt kê Part 3:  Well, there are many benefits and drawbacks of using phones to take photos. In terms of advantages, phones are small, light and portable. I mean, people can easily bring phones with them and just get them out, take a photo whenever they want. About the disadvantages, I suppose quality must be the major problem. Although cameras on phones have come a long way in recent years, they’re not as good as professional cameras.

IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ 1:

• Examiner: What kind of music do you like? 
• Candidate: 
  • Main idea 1: There are many kinds of movie that I enjoy, one of which is action movie. 
    • Supporting idea: This is simply because I enjoy watching characters face dangerous situations and battle against others to survive 
    • Example:
  • Main idea 2: Beside that, I am also a real sucker for superhero movies like Batman or The Avengers .
    • Supporting idea: What I like about them is that the visual effects are eye-pleasing and they generally star a lot of handsome actors
    • Example

• Examiner: What kinds of sports are popular in Vietnam? 
• Candidate: 
  • Main idea 1: There’s a mixed variety of sports in my country, but obviously the most popular one is soccer. 
    • Supporting idea:  It’s easy to see people playing this kind of sport in the parks or even on the streets in Vietnam.

    • Supporting idea: probably because it helps them to improve their height and build stamina.
    • Example:

• From my observation, there’s a wide range of ……that Vietnamese people love, one of which is ……….. (Theo quan sát của tôi, có rất nhiều loại ….mà người Việt Nam thích, một trong số chúng là …) 
• There’s a mixed variety of ……..in my country, but obviously  the most popular one is…. (Có nhiều loại … ở nước tôi, nhưng rõ ràng cái phổ biến nhất là …)

IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:

• The reason for this is that …….. (Lí do cho điều này là ……….) 
• This is simply because …………… (Điều này đơn giản là vì ……..)
• What I like most about it is that S+ V (Điều tôi thích nhất về loại ………. này đó là …..)
• Probably because ….  (Có lẽ là vì ….) 
• I guess/ suppose the reason for this is that ……..  (Tôi đoán/ cho rằng lí do cho điều này là ……….)
• Maybe it’s because… (Có lẽ là vì….) 
• Simply because it helps people to …/ it is a good way to …(Đơn giản là vì nó giúp người ta…../ nó là một cách tốt để …)
