IV. Part 3

  1. In your country, who takes more care of children? Parents or grandparents?

In Vietnam, parents typically take the primary responsibility for caring for children. They are deeply involved in their children's daily activities, such as education, health, and overall development. Parents ensure their children are well-provided for, offering guidance and discipline. However, grandparents also play a significant role, particularly in families with multiple generations. They often assist with childcare, such as picking up children from school or helping with meals. Their presence can provide emotional stability for the children, creating a strong family bond. For example, grandparents may share family traditions or impart life lessons to the younger generation. This support helps to ease the burdens of parents, especially when both are working full-time.>> Form đăng kí giải đề thi thật IELTS 4 kĩ năng kèm bài giải bộ đề 100 đề PART 2 IELTS SPEAKING quý đang thi (update hàng tuần) từ IELTS TUTOR

  1. What do you think about old people taking care of children?

I believe that older people taking care of children can be extremely beneficial. Grandparents often possess a wealth of life experience and patience, which they can use to nurture a child's emotional and social development. Their calm approach to parenting can help children feel secure and loved. Furthermore, the bond between grandparents and grandchildren can create a sense of continuity and belonging in a child's life. However, it’s crucial that elderly caregivers are in good health and capable of physically taking care of children. Sometimes, the demands of childcare can be physically exhausting for older adults. For example, a grandmother might be able to share stories and wisdom but may struggle with physically demanding tasks like running after an active toddler. Therefore, it is important to balance the care roles and ensure both the elderly and children are well taken care of.
