Describe a person that you enjoy spending time with

How you knew him/her

  • Firstly, I feel that he is a knowledgeable and wise person (Main idea)
    • In fact, he used to be a professor at a university, and he has been studying and reading all his life. Today, I would like to tell you about someone who has been a constant source of wisdom and guidance in my life – my grandfather. He is a remarkable person, and I’m lucky to have him around.

Well, my grandfather is currently 75 years old and is one of the most important and influential figures in my life. I’ve known him all my life, as he is my father’s father. We share a deep bond, and I cherish every moment we spend together.

We usually spend time doing a range of activities, like going fishing by the lake, chatting over a cup of tea, or watching our favourite TV shows together. It’s not just about what we do, but how we connect that makes these moments so special.

There are many reasons I enjoy spending time with him. First of all, he’s an incredibly knowledgeable person. He used to be a professor at a university, and his love for learning never stopped. Whenever I need help, I turn to him because he can explain even the most complex things in a way that’s easy to understand. For instance, when I’ve felt frustrated with school or personal challenges, he has given me wise advice and helped me find solutions.

Secondly, I admire his patience. He’s never once gotten angry with me, even when I was naughty as a child. His calm demeanor and kind nature have always made him a good listener, and I’ve always felt comfortable sharing my thoughts and feelings with him. We truly have a great rapport, and I trust him deeply.

In short, my grandfather is an extraordinary person, and I feel grateful to spend time with him. He has taught me countless life lessons and continues to shape my values and decisions.
