Today, I would like to tell you about a very special occasion in my life, which was my wedding. It took place in June 2021. The wedding ceremony was the most auspicious event I've ever been a part of, and I still cherish the memories.
It was a very traditional and religious celebration, as I come from a family that holds onto orthodox beliefs. We invited all of our close friends and relatives, and the preparations started three days prior to the event. The atmosphere was filled with joy and anticipation as we made all the arrangements for the ceremony.
At first, I was quite exhausted because I had to take care of all the amenities for the guests. This included booking hotels for them, arranging food and drinks, and ensuring everyone was comfortable and satisfied. But, as time passed, everything fell into place. By the end of the event, I felt a great sense of fulfillment.
Looking back, I would say the wedding was a life-changing experience. I felt over the moon to see the dramatic changes in my life. It was like stepping into a new chapter, becoming more responsible, and realizing that I now had someone to share my life with.

IV. Part 3
How can a person adapt to changes in life?
Adapting to changes in life requires flexibility and an open mindset. People must learn to embrace new circumstances and be willing to step outside of their comfort zone. For instance, when moving to a new country, individuals often need to adjust to cultural differences and new social norms. This can be challenging, but by being open to learning and exploring, a person can easily adjust. Additionally, resilience plays a significant role in adapting, as individuals need to bounce back from setbacks and remain optimistic. Over time, people can acquire the necessary skills to deal with life’s challenges, which leads to personal growth and greater self-awareness.
Why do some people quit and change jobs?
One common reason people quit their jobs is due to a lack of job satisfaction or personal fulfillment. If employees feel their work is no longer challenging or rewarding, they might seek new opportunities that offer better career growth or a healthier work-life balance. For example, some workers leave their jobs because they feel their talents are being underutilized or they are not valued in their current positions. Moreover, some people quit because of toxic work environments, where they face constant stress or poor management. This can lead them to look for a more supportive and positive workplace. In today’s world, job changes have become more common as people prioritize personal happiness and well-being over job security.
Do you like new things or changes in life?
Personally, I enjoy embracing new experiences and changes. I believe that trying new things helps me grow and broaden my perspective. For instance, when I tried learning a new language, it was initially challenging but ultimately rewarding as it opened up new opportunities for communication and cultural understanding. However, I also recognize that constant change can sometimes be overwhelming, especially when it’s unexpected or forced upon me. Nevertheless, I try to stay positive and view challenges as chances for personal growth. Change is a part of life, and I think it’s important to approach it with a mindset of adaptability and curiosity.>> IELTS TUTOR hướng dẫn PHÂN TÍCH ĐỀ THI 30/5/2020 IELTS WRITING TASK 2 (kèm bài sửa HS đạt 6.5)
Why do you think adapting to change is difficult for some people?
Adapting to change is difficult for some because it disrupts their sense of familiarity and stability. People often feel more comfortable in their routines and may fear the unknown, which makes embracing change intimidating. For instance, when someone is faced with a major career shift, the uncertainty of the new job and environment can cause anxiety and hesitation. Another reason is that change requires individuals to adjust their habits and ways of thinking, which can be mentally and emotionally taxing. Some people find it hard to break away from old patterns, especially if those patterns have been ingrained over a long period. However, with the right mindset and support from others, adapting to change becomes more manageable.
Is it easy for old people to change?
It can be challenging for older people to embrace change because they have often developed established routines over many years. The longer someone follows a particular way of life, the more resistant they may become to altering it. For instance, an elderly person might find it difficult to learn new technologies, such as smartphones or computers, due to unfamiliarity with the tools and fear of making mistakes. Additionally, as people age, their physical and mental capabilities may slow down, making them less inclined to adapt to new environments. However, it’s not impossible for older individuals to embrace change if they have the motivation and proper support from their families or communities.
Do people usually change their routine?
People’s routines tend to shift over time, though the extent of change varies from person to person. Some individuals enjoy routine and may stick to the same habits for years, but others find comfort in mixing things up occasionally. For example, a person might change their fitness routine to try a new type of exercise, or they might modify their daily schedule to accommodate work and personal life. In most cases, changes in routine occur naturally due to life circumstances, such as starting a new job, moving to a different location, or having children. Adaptability plays a key role in this process, as individuals learn to integrate new activities into their lives while maintaining balance.
Is it easier for young people to change?
Yes, it’s often easier for younger people to change because they are generally more flexible and open to new experiences. Young individuals tend to have fewer responsibilities, which makes them more willing to experiment with different lifestyles and career paths. Additionally, they are often more comfortable with technology and innovation, making it easier to adapt to changes in the digital world. For example, a young person may quickly learn how to use new software or adapt to a new social media platform. However, this does not mean older people cannot change; it simply means that youth often comes with greater confidence and curiosity about change.
Do you think change is good?
I believe change is often a positive force in life, as it drives growth and development. Without change, people may become stuck in a rut, unable to achieve their full potential. For example, personal growth is often the result of facing challenges and stepping outside of one’s comfort zone. Change also introduces new opportunities and experiences that can lead to exciting discoveries. However, change can be difficult for some, especially when it involves unexpected or unwanted shifts in their lives. Despite the potential challenges, embracing change allows individuals to adapt and evolve, ultimately contributing to a more fulfilling and dynamic life.
