IELTS TUTOR gợi ý bài tham khảo:

Today, I would like to tell you about a positive change (thay đổi tích cực) that has significantly improved my life—getting up earlier in the morning. It may sound simple, but this adjustment has brought about numerous benefits, particularly in terms of productivity and overall well-being.

To implement this change, I had to completely overhaul my evening routine. Previously, staying up until 1 or 2 AM was inevitable (không thể tránh khỏi), as there were so many temptations (sự cám dỗ) keeping me awake. For instance, I often found myself binge-watching the latest episodes of my favorite shows or scrambling to meet a deadline (hoàn thành hạn chót) because of procrastination (sự trì hoãn). However, I realized that this habit was extremely destructive (phá hoại) for both my physical and mental health in the long run (về lâu dài). Recognizing this, I made a conscious effort to adopt a healthier lifestyle by going to bed earlier.>> Form đăng kí giải đề thi thật IELTS 4 kĩ năng kèm bài giải bộ đề 100 đề PART 2 IELTS SPEAKING quý đang thi (update hàng tuần) từ IELTS TUTOR

The process of change, however, was incredibly arduous (khó khăn, gian khổ). As the saying goes, "Old habits die hard," and this proved to be true in my case. Initially, I struggled to resist the urge to scroll through social media or watch late-night videos. It was a tiresome (mệt mỏi) adjustment that tested my patience, but over time, I managed to get rid of (loại bỏ) my unhealthy routine.

The results, though, have been nothing short of extraordinary. First and foremost, waking up early allows me to use the peaceful and quiet morning hours to plan my day ahead. I can allocate (phân bổ) specific time slots for each task, which has greatly improved my organizational skills and promoted productivity (tăng cường hiệu suất). For example, mentally outlining my to-do list before starting my day ensures that I tackle tasks systematically without feeling overwhelmed.

Another major benefit is that I now have more time to exercise regularly. Exercising in the morning gives me an adrenaline boost (sự kích thích adrenaline), which enhances my alertness (tỉnh táo) and helps me overcome morning grogginess. Additionally, morning workouts are less likely to be interrupted by unforeseen events, such as a work emergency or a spontaneous social gathering. For instance, in the past, I often skipped evening exercise sessions due to exhaustion or late-night commitments.

All in all, this change has made me feel over the moon (rất vui sướng) about my improved lifestyle. Not only do I feel healthier and more energetic, but I’ve also become more efficient with my time. This shift in habits has truly been a game-changer for me, and I can't imagine going back to my old ways.

      IV. Part 3

      1. What are the advantages of children following school routines?

Children benefit greatly from following school routines, as these practices help them develop discipline and time management skills. By adhering to a structured timetable, students learn the importance of prioritizing tasks and managing their day effectively. For example, children who follow a fixed homework schedule are more likely to submit assignments on time. Additionally, routines provide structure and predictability, which can reduce anxiety and improve focus. When children know what to expect during their day, they feel more secure and confident. For instance, regular class schedules ensure that they can prepare in advance, ultimately aiding in better academic performance. "Routines act as a stepping stone to success," helping kids build habits that will benefit them in the long run. "Stick to something" (tuân thủ một cái gì đó) is a useful phrasal verb here, as children who stick to routines are less likely to feel overwhelmed.

      • Discipline (n): kỷ luật
      • Time management (n): kỹ năng quản lý thời gian
      • Structure (n): cấu trúc, tổ chức
      • Predictability (n): sự dự đoán được
      • Anxiety (n): sự lo âu
      • Stick to something (phrasal verb): tuân thủ điều gì đó

      2. How do people's routines differ on weekdays and weekends?

People’s routines differ significantly between weekdays and weekends due to variations in responsibilities and priorities. On weekdays, most individuals follow a rigid schedule dictated by work or school, such as waking up early and commuting during specific hours. For instance, a working parent may wake up at 6 a.m. to prepare their child for school and then head to the office. On the other hand, weekends offer a reprieve from these structured routines, allowing for greater flexibility in activities. Many people use this time to relax, engage in hobbies, or spend time with family. For example, someone might sleep in until 9 a.m. on a Saturday and then enjoy a leisurely breakfast with loved ones. This contrast between weekdays and weekends is like night and day, as weekdays are typically hectic while weekends are more relaxed. "Take it easy" (thư giãn) is an idiom commonly associated with weekends, highlighting the reduced stress compared to weekdays.>> IELTS TUTOR có hướng dẫn kĩ SỬA BÀI IELTS WRITING TASK 2 ĐỀ THI THẬT NGÀY 22/8/2020 của HS IELTS TUTOR đạt 6.5 Writing

      • Reprieve (n): sự giải tỏa, nghỉ ngơi
      • Take it easy (idiom): thư giãn, nghỉ ngơi

      3. What are the differences between people's daily routines now and in the past?

Daily routines today are far more dynamic and flexible compared to those in the past. With the advent of technology, people can customize their schedules to suit their lifestyles, such as working remotely or shopping online. For instance, many professionals now attend virtual meetings from home instead of commuting to offices, saving valuable time. In contrast, past routines were more rigid, as people had to adhere to fixed working hours and lacked access to conveniences like the internet. For example, a factory worker in the 1950s would begin their day early and work long hours without much flexibility. This evolution highlights how "the sands of time" (thời gian thay đổi) have shifted societal habits. Moreover, technology has introduced distractions, like social media, which were absent in the past. However, despite these changes, people still strive to maintain a balance between work and personal life, albeit with different approaches.

      • Dynamic (adj): năng động, linh hoạt
      • Customize (v): điều chỉnh cho phù hợp
      • Rigid (adj): cứng nhắc, nghiêm ngặt
      • The sands of time (idiom): thời gian thay đổi
      • Distraction (n): sự xao nhãng

      4. What daily routines do people have at home?

Daily routines at home often revolve around basic necessities and personal interests. For instance, preparing and eating meals are universal practices, with some families making it a point to dine together every evening. Another common activity is cleaning, which keeps the household organized and hygienic. For example, parents might schedule weekends for deep cleaning or organizing closets. In addition, many individuals incorporate self-care routines, such as exercising or practicing yoga, to improve their physical and mental well-being. For leisure, people engage in activities like reading, watching TV, or pursuing hobbies. For example, an avid reader might dedicate an hour before bedtime to finishing a novel. These routines serve as a "breath of fresh air" (một làn gió mới), providing comfort and stability amid life’s chaos. Phrasal verbs like "wind down" (thư giãn) are also relevant, as these activities help people relax after a busy day.

      • Self-care (n): chăm sóc bản thân
      • Breath of fresh air (idiom): một làn gió mới, sự đổi mới
