• Why you gave the speech
  • I gave the speech because I wanted to convey our sincere appreciation and gratitude for the love and support we received throughout the entire wedding process. 
  • It was a moment to express our thanks for the shared joy and to make everyone feel a part of our special day.
• And explain how you felt about the speech
• As I stood there delivering the speech, I felt a mix of emotions—gratitude, joy, and a bit of nervousness.
  • Main idea 1:   It was a heartfelt moment, and seeing the smiles on the faces of our guests made it all worthwhile. 
    • Supporting idea: The genuine expressions of happiness from our loved ones acted as a powerful emotional connection, making the act of giving thanks feel not only sincere but also reciprocated. 
  • Main idea 2:  Despite some initial nervousness, I managed to convey my feelings genuinely, and the positive energy in the room made the experience truly memorable for everyone.
    • Supporting idea: The positive energy in the room could be attributed to the authenticity of the message, as the sincerity and thoughtfulness behind the words resonated with the guests, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere.
