You should say:

    • Main idea 2: Additionally, traveling in a group provided a sense of security and support, especially when navigating unfamiliar territories.
      • Supporting idea:  
        • In unfamiliar or potentially risky situations, having multiple people around can deter potential threats or alleviate concerns about safety. 
        • Whether it's exploring a new city or venturing into remote areas, knowing that you have companions nearby can provide a sense of reassurance.
